Giggle Guide recognizes National Prematurity Month

Inspiration is Never Born Too Soon!

Nomie Baby's inspiration, Josie -- now 3 years old

During the challenges and heartaches of having a premature infant, many parents discover hope, inspiration and the power of TLC. Katie Danziger and Amber Lancaster are two such parents. Both are mothers of preemies, and both are dedicated to offering support, and useful products, for other parents of preemies. In honor of their achievements and National Prematurity Awareness Month, The Giggle Guide™ showcases their respective companies, Nomie Baby and Born 4 Couture.

Nomie Baby Adds Easy-Care to Car Seat Covers

Nomie Baby
Being the mother of a child that was born two months premature, Katie Danziger knows not to sweat the small stuff. However, when she realized that the car seat cover she used for her tiny baby wasn’t washable, she decided to do something about it. Searching for soft fabric that wouldn’t irritate the skin of her sensitive child, she made it her mission to manufacture an easy-care, comfortable cover. Nomie Baby car seat covers is her neat idea that met a need in the marketplace. The covers, designed for infant and toddler seats, retail for $36, and are available in solid blue, white, pink, lime, white, pink, navy and charcoal.

Nomie Baby was born from the inspiration of a miracle child, so 10% of profits are donated to an NICU in appreciation for the care that helps save children’s lives.

  1. Baby car seat covers are tailor-made for baby seats and aesthetically they are a better choice than using receiving blankets. Having more than one cover is even desired by most parents as it helps avoid discomfort for baby and parents if a cover on the seat gets spoiled because keeping a spare makes it easier and quick to change them.
